So yesterday morning I received a fab little delivery from a company called JD Seasonings. Ive seen lots of posts within the slimming world Instagram community of members raving about these syn free little pots of flavor so I thought that I would find out what all the hype was about and place an order myself.
JD Seasonings specialise in a selection of rubs and meal kits which are all made using 100% natural ingredients. There is no sight of MSG, preservatives, additives or sugar here, just good old hand blended natural ingredients which is great news when you have a husband with an allergy to MSG.
As you can see from the photo above I went for a varied selection of rubs and seasonings to try out over the up coming weeks and this is only 14 of the 25 which they currently sell on their website. They certainly cover a wide range of cultural cuisines from Spicy currys, Fajitas and chilli to bonognese and cottage pie and im excited to give all that I have bought a try.
When you remove the packaging you will find a small round, resealable pot with the seasonings , now I love that these pots are re sealable as if I only want to make up the meal for one or two people I can and I wont be wasting any of the seasonings which is a bonus when you have a house of four fussy male eaters. On the reverse of the cardboard packaging you will find a list of ingredients and straight forward cooking instructions to make life that little bit easier.
Last night I had a go making some sharing Tacos using their Taco Seasoning. I certainly wasnt disappointed, the seasoning is full of flavor and made for a reallu tasty meal, ot made me excited to try the rest that I have bought.
